
Morocco-Bulgaria: Two agreements to strengthen cinematographic, educational and scientific cooperation
Morocco and Bulgaria signed, Wednesday in Rabat, two cooperation agreements in the fields of cinematography, education and scientific research. These agreements, initialed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mariya Gabriel, aim to strengthen bilateral relations, based on dialogue, solidarity and cooperation.
The first agreement, dedicated to co-production and cinematographic exchange, aspires to develop and strengthen collaboration between Morocco and Bulgaria. It will facilitate the joint production of cinematographic works, stimulate the development of the two countries’ film industries, and intensify their cultural and commercial exchanges in this sector. The second agreement represents a three-year program of cooperation in the fields of education, higher education, scientific research, culture, communication, youth and sports for the period 2024-2026. Its objective is to promote exchanges of information and experiences between Morocco and Bulgaria in the field of education and teaching, encourage academic cooperation between the two nations, and promote better mutual understanding of their culture. This program also aims to develop cooperation between the two countries in the fields of television and radio, to encourage collaboration between national cinematographic institutions, to share their experiences in the field of youth, and to promote cooperation in the sports sector.
