Moroccans top the clientele of the various tourist accommodation establishments in Agadir during the first 5 months of the current year with a total of 116,919 visitors.
According to data from the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Agadir Souss-Massa, the number of tourists of different nationalities who visited the capital of Souss reached 409,003 during the first 5 months, compared to 376,305 tourists for the same period of last year, an increase of 8.69%.
According to CRT statistics, 4-star hotels come in first position, with 89,067 tourists, followed by tourist clubs with 87,618 visitors and 5-star hotels which welcomed 75,888 tourists.
Moreover, the average occupancy rate in the different tourist accommodation units during this period reached 49.62%, indicates the CRT, noting that tourist clubs reached a rate of 64.66% followed by 5-star hotels with 62.60% and hotels classified as 17.70%.
