Tourist nights in classified tourist accommodation establishments in the city of Meknes increased by 7% at the end of April 2018 compared to the same period of the previous year.
Some 91,645 overnight stays were recorded during the first 4 months of the current year, compared to 86,029 overnight stays during the same period of 2017, according to statistics from the National Observatory of Tourism.
The occupancy rate during this period of 2018 was 30% compared to 29% in 2017, notes the same source, adding that the average length of stay for the same period was 1.4 days in 2018 compared to 1.5 in 2017.
