The public channel 2M announced the establishment of exceptional media coverage on the occasion of the Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, through a global system combining television, radio and platforms digital, the channel aims to offer the public a complete immersion in this major continental event. This mobilization is based on extensive field coverage, supported by new studios equipped with the most advanced technologies, and led by a team bringing together journalists, analysts, experts and emblematic figures of African football
The editorial approach adopted is intended to be innovative, celebrating both the sporting competition and the cultural richness of the African continent, At the heart This programming includes “Planète Foot”, the flagship daily event of the CAN, broadcast live every evening at 10:30 p.m. Presented by Ghizlane Gabbari and Jihane Jouhri, the show will offer in-depth analyses, tactical readings, behind the scenes of matches and direct interaction with viewers, in the presence of renowned consultants such as El Hadji Diouf, Alex Song, Khaled Fouhami and Adel Hermach
The schedule also includes “Replay”, an analytical show broadcast daily at 1:30 p.m. relies on statistical data, 3D modeling, augmented reality and digital simulation to decipher the matches, Added to this is “CAN News”, a daily newspaper broadcast at 9:15 p.m., dedicated to sporting and organizational news and the general atmosphere of the tournament,
Beyond football, 2M will highlight the cultural dimension of the CAN with “CAN Kitchen”, a culinary escapade daily through 24 traditional African recipes, as well as “Netla9aw f’la CAN”, a format inviting you to discover Morocco through the eyes of foreign supporters. The programming will be enriched by the documentary series “Time for Africa”, made up of nine episodes filmed in as many African countries, offering a visual journey to the heart of the diversity of the continent. The coverage also extends to the radio waves, with Radio 2M which will offer a special edition of the show “La Bombonera”, broadcast every day from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., combining debates, hot analyzes and live reactions
