
A RADISSON BLU HOTEL PLANNED FOR 2019 IN THE HEART OF CASABLANCA
The hotel group, Radisson Hospitality AB, listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, in Sweden, and member of the Radisson Hotel Group, has just announced the signing and arrival of its first Radisson Blu hotel in Casablanca, Morocco. The group’s African portfolio now stands at 90 hotels.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Casablanca, will be located in one of the most dynamic areas of downtown Casablanca, close to the medina. The opening is planned before summer 2019.

Morocco is a key market for us and represents the leading tourist destination in Africa in terms of international arrivals, » said Ramsay Rankoussi, Vice President, Development, Middle East and North Africa, Radisson Hotel Group.
« Casablanca is the lung of the Moroccan economy, but also the leading financial center of the African continent. With more than 5.1 million visitors during the first half of 2018, up 10% compared to the year 2017, the growth forecasts for Moroccan tourism appear positive for the years to come and we are therefore very optimistic and confident about the evolution of tourism in Morocco,” adds the vice-president of the group.
The interior architecture of the hotel was created by architect Jaime Bernstein. The hotel will include 120 rooms, combining standard rooms and suites, a restaurant, a roof-top bar, a lounge bar as well as leisure facilities including a spa, a gym and a beauty salon. It will also offer more than 450 m² of dedicated space for seminars to meet the growing demand from business customers.
