RIU Hotels & Resorts has opened the RIU Tikida Palace Taghazout, a 5-star all-inclusive hotel 24 hours located in the Taghazout Bay area, 18 km north of the city of Agadir.
The hotel, RIU’s 6th in Morocco in partnership with its Moroccan partner the Tikida group, covers 18 hectares and has 504 rooms, including five luxurious swim-up suites.
The hotel includes a main restaurant « Le Tara », and three themed restaurants, namely « Le Krystal », « Le steakhouse Bâbor » open in the evening, and « Le Musk », which offers Moroccan specialties.
The RIU Tikida Palace Taghazout has terraces and gardens of more than 45,000 m2 where there are 5 swimming pools. It also has a full Tikida spa, in addition to a gym, steam bath, sauna and jacuzzi.
The hotel offers entertainment for little ones at RiuLand, daytime leisure activities for adults and a nightly program of shows and live music, in addition to numerous activities at the RiuArt studio.
With the opening of the RIU Tikida Palace Taghazout, the two partners now own 6 hotels in Morocco, including 3 in the Agadir area, 2 in Marrakech and the latter in Taghazout. For the next winter season 2019-2020, it is planned to completely renovate the RIU Tikida Garden (Marrakech) and reposition it as TUI Blue Tikida Garden, by RIU, for adults.
