
CAN 2023: Moroccan Bouchra Kerboubi, the only woman designated central referee
Seven Moroccan referees have been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate during the final phase of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), which will be held in Ivory Coast (January 13-February 11), reports the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). “Morocco dominates the list of 68 referees, central, assistants and VAR (video assistance to refereeing), selected for the next CAN alongside Egypt,” indicates the same source.
