
ICOH 2024: the 34th International Occupational Health Congress scheduled from April 28 to May 3, 2024 in Marrakech
This global event is organized by the Moroccan Occupational Health Association (MOHA), the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Hassan II University of Casablanca, as well as its Occupational Health Unit, in collaboration with the International Commission on Occupational Health (CIST) (ICOH), founded in 1906, is the oldest scientific association in the field of occupational health and safety. In 2022, it had around 2,000 members, 24 supporting members (institutes) and 24 affiliated members (professional associations) representing more than 100 countries around the world. ICOH is an NGO recognized by the United Nations and maintains close working relationships with the International Labor Organization and the World Health Organization. Scheduled from April 28 to May 3, 2024, at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, under the theme “Improving research and practices in occupational health. Filling the gaps!”, this congress represents an exceptional and unprecedented meeting in Morocco. It positions itself as a major event on the global scene for health, safety and well-being at work. Bringing together more than 2,500 participants for six days, including business professionals, researchers, academicians, policy makers, preventionists and representatives of international organizations from around the world, ICOH 2024 will provide a unique platform to discuss, exchange and share points of view, ideas and good practices in order to advance research, policies and interventions. The first Introductory Conference will mark the start of this important event, in synchronization with the World Day for Health and Safety at Work. ICOH 2024 will be an exclusive showcase of innovation and progress in the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a captivating experience with over 350 hours of diverse content, including 196 special and side sessions, 10 plenary sessions highlighting key trends, 12 captivating visual sessions, and 32 semi-plenary sessions exploring in-depth topics, as well as an exhibition space where 100 prestigious exhibitors will be present. In addition, the 100 scheduled symposia, workshops and meetings will provide spaces for collaboration, exchange of ideas and creation of synergies. This large-scale global event promises to be a dynamic and enriching global gathering, bringing together internationally renowned experts to discuss, share and influence the future of occupational health.
