50 agencies from the Middle East on a Moroccan tour

Infomediary Morocco – The regional representation of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) for the Middle East and Asia is organizing, from March 14 to 19, a prospecting visit to Casablanca and Marrakech for the benefit of more than 50 travel agencies from the Middle East and India.

This initiative, which will see the participation of tourism promoters and representatives of travel agencies from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, Egypt, Jordan and India, aims to raise awareness of the tourist potential of the Morocco destination.

The director of the regional representation of the ONMT at Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Sadek, underlined that a program has been established to allow participating travel agencies to learn in depth about the tourist potential of Morocco in general as well as the key features of established tourist destinations such as Casablanca and Marrakech, in particular.

This visit is part of the strategic plan of the regional representation of the ONMT for the year 2018, he declared, adding that representatives of the travel agencies concerned will have meetings with around a hundred tourism professionals in Morocco.

Partnership agreements and conventions will also be concluded with a view to promoting the Morocco label among Gulf countries and the Indian market.
