Morocco will thus succeed France in the piloting of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Tourism, which aims to constitute an international platform for the exchange of experiences and the sharing of good practices in sustainable tourism, while providing its members with an international network of donors and organizations able to provide technical support in the implementation of sustainability projects in tourism.
As a reminder, the theme of the March 25 symposium focused on the promotion of sustainable tourism: design, development and implementation.
Several sessions allowed us to explore different issues in greater depth:Tourism development – Sustainable, green and inclusive?; Preserving biodiversity for the development of sustainable tourism: recommendations for CBD COP 12; Private sector: performance and accountability for resource efficiency and sustainability.
