Tourism: Belgian television praises Morocco
Morocco is the most touristy country in Africa, according to the French-speaking Belgian Radio and Television (RTBF).
The media reports that Morocco recorded, at the end of November, 5.8 billion dollars in revenue, indicating that these revenues allow the Kingdom to finish the year No. 1 in the ranking of the most touristic countries on the African continent.
The same source recalls that this year, Marrakech, one of the most popular destinations in the country, was designated by CNN as one of the cities offering the best “street food” in the world.
“National Geographic” ranked it in 7th place among destinations to visit in 2017 and Tripadvisor in 3rd place.
And to conclude, Belgian television affirms that Morocco hopes to confirm its status as African leader in 2017, thanks in particular to the 52 hotel projects currently being implemented.
