Air France launches a Paris CDG-Marrakech route
TRANSPORT – A new air link between Paris-Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) and Marrakech will be operational from March 26.
After Rabat and Casablanca, Air France will serve the ocher city from the French capital with three flights per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays by Airbus A320, according to the specialized site AirInfo.
Departures from Marrakech will be at 10:25 a.m. on Wednesday and Sunday, and 1:15 p.m. on Friday. Departures from Paris will be at 7:05 a.m. on Wednesday and Sunday, and 9:55 a.m. on Friday.
Prices vary between 65 and 155 euros for a one-way ticket in economy class, depending on the prices consulted this Wednesday, December 21.
Towards Marrakech, Air France will be in direct competition with the low-cost airline easyJet and indirectly with Royal Air Maroc and TUIfly, recalls AirInfo.
This summer, the Air France-KLM group will offer up to 125 weekly flights to seven cities in Morocco, namely Agadir, Casablanca, Essaouira, Fez, Marrakech, Oujda and Rabat.
