Mr. Massimo Baggi, Ambassador of Switzerland to Morocco, is a gourmet and a great lover of local cuisine.
Having received us at his residence, he showed us, with great pleasure and kindness, his dexterity in the culinary arts of his country, in addition to his excellent diplomatic approach. Before our eyes, he prepared one of the classics of Swiss gastronomy: “Cheese Fondue”, very tasty.
Honored to be at the table with him to share rare moments of civility, we discussed with him subjects relating, among other things, to Moroccan-Swiss cooperation, particularly in the field of tourism and the agri-food industry, for which the Swiss have a well-established vocation in the market.
Moreover, the Swiss festival which will take place at Movenpick Casablanca, from February 27 to March 10 this year, is organized in close collaboration with the Swiss embassy and the hotel chain. A highlight of the festival, the rich gastronomic program which will last during the festival, has called on Walter Wyssen from Movenpick Zurich, one of the most highly regarded chefs in the culinary arts who will present, to the great pleasure of the guests, traditional and modern Swiss gastronomic dishes.
