The Hotel Industry Association of Tangier Assilah held its general meeting on February 15, 2017 at the Kenzi Solazur hotel. The summary of the activities of the A.I.H.T during this last mandate was presented and several current topics were discussed.
The general secretary of the Association Ms. Samira Ktiri presented the moral report while the financial report was presented by Mounir Benkirane. After the discussions, the two reports were unanimously approved.
Against all expectations, Mustapha Boucetta, President of the AIHT for several terms, a major hotelier and considered a person in the field, did not run for the presidency of the association. It should be remembered that Mr. Boucetta has always been fully involved in everything relating to the hotel activity of the city of the Strait. He has been able to lead, execute and defend the causes of hoteliers in the best conditions in recent years. It will be Mr. Mohamed EL Bahja who succeeds him, in accordance with the vote at the general meeting.
The Association immediately held its first meeting and proceeded with the constitution of the new office composed as follows:
