In terms of tourism, Morocco is starting to gain visibility in China, where it received the “Best Potential Destination 2016” award, ahead of confirmed destinations in world tourism such as France or Thailand.
This distinction was presented to the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) on Sunday in Beijing, on the occasion of the 6th edition of the Global Times Forum.
The prize is awarded each year to the best destination according to the three criteria of the visa procedure, the rate of increase in tourist flows and the satisfaction rate of Chinese tourists, indicates the ONMT in a press release.
