
The CDG group opens two hotels and an aquapark in Saïdia
The CDG group is delivering and inaugurating two new hotel units this summer as well as an aquapark within the Saïdia resort.
–The Melia Garden & Golf Resort, a 5-star hotel that recreates the picturesque architecture of a Mediterranean village with personalized service, opened its doors to the general public on June 1.
The hotel, built on an area of nearly 14,000 m², has 150 rooms and suites. It also provides access to the golf course and many other activities suitable for all ages.
–The Melia Beach, a 5-star all-inclusive hotel enjoying an exceptional location. Located both on the seafront and on the golf course, the hotel will open its doors in July 2017. Spanning an area of 33,000 m² with a capacity of 397 rooms and suites, the Melia Beach offers a choice of restaurants of different specialties, a spa, a large conference and events center as well as several indoor and outdoor activities.
-Finally, the Alpamare Saïdia Aquaparc, the main leisure and entertainment component of the resort, will also open its doors in summer 2017. Built on a 7 hectare plot, respecting the best international standards, this water park will feature more than ten attractions with a theme and a narrative thread based on adventures on the high seas.
Summer visitors will enjoy a wave pool of more than 1,200 m², the classic lazy river with a length of 375 m, children’s pools in addition to slides that will delight young and old.
The CDG group is responsible for the planning and development of tourist resorts which constitute central pillars of Vision 2020, in particular the Saïdia resort and that of Taghazout.
It should be remembered that during 2016 the CDG group inaugurated two major hotel references in Tamuda Bay near Tetouan, namely the Sofitel Tamuda Bay Beach & Spa, a 5-star hotel with 104 rooms and 234 beds which opened its doors in May 2016, and the Banyan Tree Tamuda Bay, a luxury resort with 92 villas and 276 beds which opened in August 2016.
The year 2016 also saw the reopening of the Jnane Palace in Fez under the Marriott brand, a 5-star hotel with 244 rooms and 393 beds, as well as the opening of the Sol House Taghazout Bay-Surf managed by the Mélia hotel group, and made up of 75 bungalows on Taghazout Bay.
