
Mini Almond Mhancha
Ingredients
- 10 sheets of brick
- 500g blanched almonds
- 100g butter
- 100g fine sugar
- ½ glass of orange blossom water
- 1 egg white
- 100g flaked almonds
Grind the almonds finely, add the sugar and cinnamon and mix everything.
Pour in orange blossom water, mixing at the same time until the dough holds together easily.
On a fairly long table, spread out all the brik sheets, overlapping them.
Stick together with egg white.
At the bottom of each sheet, place a cigar of almond paste. (Form a long stick of almond paste).
Gently roll the leaves around this stuffing to obtain a long pipe. Then roll up into a spiral.
Butter a flat round mold, approximately the diameter of the Mhancha, and slide it into it
Arrange a few cubes of butter on top and bake in a preheated medium oven.
When the Mhancha is golden, remove it from the oven. and drizzle it with melted honey and sprinkle it with flaked almonds.
Do not cover and let cool.
