The Ordinary General Assembly of Moroccan tour operators on December 15 was a meeting of fair play on both sides, and in which President Amal Karioun used wisdom, understanding and self-improvement, in the interest of the profession. His colleagues, it must be said, did the same with mutual respect.
The assembled collective, represented by all the regional associations, will have decided to unanimously elect Khalid Benazouz President of the National Federation of Travel Agencies of Morocco (FNAVM) for a transitional period of 6 months, in order to carry out with the new office whose list was validated by the Assembly, the reconstruction of the statutes and the upgrading of the regional associations. Mission which should lead to results to prepare for real elections in July 2019. Respectable deadline which counts a lot on the perseverance of the new Federal President.
It must, however, be remembered that during this AGM of December 15 in Casablanca, certain members, perhaps manipulated or manipulative, always quick to say the whole and its opposite, would have disrupted the spirit of appeasement sought by the vast majority of members present, more than 70 present and proxies. The quorum was therefore reached.
