Successful presence of Essaouira at Fitur 2019. The destination highlighted all of its tourism potential at the International Fair which was recently held in Madrid.
The participation of Essaouira through a delegation from the provincial tourism council in this meeting, is part of the promotional actions of the destination planned for the year 2019. “We have throughout our preparation for this Show worked to define our priorities with a view to carrying out concrete and targeted actions and exploring all the opportunities offered to successfully promote the Essaouira destination, and thus better communicate around heritage millennium of the city as well as all the tourist products that we offer to visitors to the city of trade winds”,underlines in this sense Redwane Khanne, president of the CPT of Essaouira.
For better visibility of the destination, a stand highly dedicated to Essaouira has been set up within the Morocco Pavilion. The participation of the city of Essaouira in this International Tourism Fair was also an opportunity for tourist operators to establish a series of contacts and B2B meetings with airlines to jointly explore the different opportunities for development and strengthening of the destination’s air connectivity, with the prospect of opening new airlines from several promising markets.
