The 2020-2022 program contract for the support and recovery of the tourism sector was published in full by the Ministry of the Economy and finances.
Remember that this program contract was signed last Thursday, August 6. It brings together measures designed around three fundamental ideas, namely:
? Maintaining jobs and preserving the economic fabric.
? Stimulating demand.
? The structural transformation of the sector.
It covers the period 2020-2022 and includes 21 measures which will allow the sector, in particular, to preserve the economic fabric, maintain employees’ jobs and income, guarantee access to social coverage for all players in the sector, reduce the weight of the informal sector, economically and financially support the sector for recovery, stimulate investment and the transformation of production tools, strengthen resilience and facilitate the resumption of activity, as well as lay the foundations of a sustainable transformation of tourism in Morocco.
