In February 2024, alone, the sector saw an increase of 18% compared to February 2023, with 1.1 million arrivals. Foreign tourists represent 53% of these arrivals. This performance marks a continuation after 2023 when Morocco reached a new record with 14.5 million visitors, exceeding the government objective of 13.5 million. This result confirms the resilience of the sector, which has overcome the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Ministry of Tourism and Crafts welcomed these achievements, stressing that Moroccan tourism « continues to reach historic milestones and maintain a promising upward trajectory for the years to come. »
