TRANSPORT- The Italian shipping company GNV will launch a new maritime line linking the ports of Barcelona and Nador next June, the company said on its website.
The new line will be operated by the GNV Atlas ferry, a brand new boat which also operates on the Sète-Nador line, inaugurated Thursday March 2, said the maritime carrier.
The name of the GNV Atlas ferry was chosen in homage to Morocco and its main mountain range. The boat has a large reception area, restaurants, shops and several other services, underlines GNV.
The company now has four vessels operating on five sea routes to and from Italy, France and Spain.
In Morocco, GNV operates connections between Tangier and Genoa, in Italy, with a stopover in Barcelona, as well as direct connections between the ports of Tangier and Nador and the port of Sète, in France, to which this new Nador-Barcelona line will be added.
