Organized by Femmes Du Maroc under the theme “Morocco, Land of the Caftan”, Caftan Week will be held in Marrakech from May 9 to 12. This grand edition will offer an exceptional platform to highlight this rich heritage which embodies the heritage, cultural richness and ancestral Moroccan know-how. During the conference, the speakers returned to the choice of the theme “Morocco, Land of the Caftan” which offers a journey into the magnificent epic of a garment, once simple and common, which has become a symbol of transcendent Moroccan elegance.
A theme which also aims to pay worthy homage to the Moroccan anchoring of the caftan in its thousand-year-old, rich and inspiring land. The conference also highlighted the choice to organize Caftan Week 2024 in Marrakech, which is one of the flagship destinations for fashion and culture. During the Caftan 2024 fashion show, the highlight of Caftan Week, the 16 Moroccan designers (including 1 young talent) participating in this edition will present innovative collections combining traditional know-how and renewed creativity. Collections through which the selected creators will surprise and amaze thanks to the inventiveness and ingenuity to which they have always accustomed the Moroccan and international public.
