The National Tourism Confederation (CNT), in collaboration with the Circle of experts, leaders and trainers of tourism schools, announces the launch of the first edition of the Travel Careers Celebration Week (TCCW), from May 6 to 15, 2024. This event, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy as well as the Moroccan National Tourism Office, highlights and celebrates a sector of opportunities, offering multiple vocations and careers and contributing greatly to the economic development of Morocco. TCCW is a national celebration of careers in tourism and hospitality, inviting professionals, training institutions and the general public to discover and share the many opportunities offered by this sector. On this occasion, several certified events will be held throughout Morocco, offering conferences, workshops and meetings which will provide platforms for exchange, highlighting the significant need for talent and the wealth of opportunities offered by the sector. TCCW Key Events * #SiyahaPassion Competition: This innovative social media campaign designed by young people and for young people, was a resounding success, reaching nearly 7.6 million accounts across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. This competition, which encourages young people to express their passion for tourism through the creation of videos, has captivated a large and diverse audience representing the regions of Morocco, from Tangier to Dakhla via Taza, Beni Mellal, Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir and even Ifrane. A jury of experts will announce on May 10, 2024, during the “Job Fair & Forum”, the winners of this first edition of #SiyahaPassion. * Challenge attractiveness of tourism professions This inter-school challenge, scheduled for May 10, is an innovation challenge where students from different schools will compete to design campaigns aimed at promoting careers and professions in Moroccan tourism. * Forum and Job Fair in Marrakech On May 10 and 11, this event, which will be held at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Cadi Ayyad University, will offer a unique platform for direct professional meetings between employers and candidates. * Tourism innovation hackathon: On May 11, this innovation marathon – organized in collaboration with the « Center of Excellence Tourism & Hospitality Management School » of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Cadi Ayyad University – encourages innovation in the tourism sector for the creation of a dedicated Go Siyaha project bank including all regions of Morocco.
