2nd edition of the Festival “Écho des Racines, Festival of Moroccans of the World in Tangier”: Celebration of Moroccan culture, identity and unity

With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Communication, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, in partnership with the City Council of Tangier and the Municipality of Saint-Josse in Brussels, we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 2nd edition of the Festival « Écho des Racines: Festival of Moroccans of the World in Tangier ». Organized by the Sport and Culture Belgium association, the event will be held from August 7 to 9, 2024 in Tangier, coinciding with the Throne Day and National Migrant’s Day. The festival aims to celebrate and strengthen cultural and social ties between Moroccans, both in Morocco and abroad, through a variety of cultural, artistic and sporting activities. The festival will offer enriching encounters, including legal consultations for Moroccans living abroad, international artistic performances and sports competitions. These activities and others, details of which are on the Festival website (www.echodesracines.com), are designed to highlight Moroccan intangible cultural heritage in order to promote the social and cultural integration of Moroccans around the world.
