Farasha Farmhouse, the new hotel to know in Morocco

Led by Fred and Rosena Charmoy, a well-known Marrakech nightlife duo, Farasha Farmhouse has just opened its doors, just half an hour from the red city. Formerly a rural residence for artists, this arty farm today takes the form of an innovative hotel designed for and dedicated to creative souls. 30 minutes from Marrakech, Farasha Farmhouse is the new address to discover in Morocco this winter

Surrounded by mountains, the place is set out through an olive grove and a Mediterranean garden designed by landscaper Marius Boulesteix. The ten rooms are decorated with Beni Rugs carpets, local furniture and works created by Amine El Gotaibi and Laurence Leenaert (behind the Lrnce brand).

All meals are shared and served on a large communal table. From breakfast consisting of homemade granola and shakshuka to dinner which gives pride of place to Moroccan cuisine. Made from fruits and vegetables from the orchard and good farm products, they are located a stone’s throw from a swimming pool, 50 meters long.

An ode to craftsmanship in all its forms, there is also a well-stocked library of rare works from the private collection of Diana Vreeland, given to the owners by her son Freck, American ambassador to Morocco.
