The addition of Essaouira enriches the company’s offering to lesser-known mass tourism destinations. The company reiterates the importance of checking in online before the flight to avoid additional fees. Hold baggage must be reserved in advance. Collective and individual taxis provide the connection between the airport and the city center. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. The streets of the medina converge towards the port, where blue boats line up along the quays. The 18th century ramparts, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer a promenade facing the ocean. Artisans work with cedar wood in their workshops, while fishmongers’ stalls offer the day’s catch. The beaches stretch to the north and south of the city. The constant wind attracts surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. The main beach, protected by the island of Mogador, is suitable for swimming and relaxing. Practical information for travel: where and when to go to Essaouira The temperate climate of Essaouira makes it a pleasant destination all year round.
