La Mamounia 1st hotel in Africa and 11th in the world, according to Condé Nast Traveler
La Mamounia was voted 1st hotel in North Africa and 11th best hotel in the world in the “Reader’s Choice Awards 2024” from the luxury travel and lifestyle magazine Condé Nast Traveler. The 2024 edition of the “Reader’s Choice Awards” of Condé Nast Traveler magazine, for the American edition and the British edition, ranked La Mamounia 1st hotel in North Africa and 11th best hotel in the world, the hotel group announced in a press release. La Mamounia, the only Moroccan hotel to appear in the top 50 of Condé Nast Taveler, considers that this double recognition “reinforces its position as leader in luxury hotels in Morocco and Africa”. It is also “a recognition for the “Grande Dame” who has embodied Moroccan elegance and hospitality for 100 years”.
For Pierre Jochem, general manager of La Mamounia, quoted in the press release, “this double distinction is a testimony and recognition of the hard work and dedication of all our teams. We are delighted that our global guests have recognized our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service and an unrivaled experience in a beautiful setting.” “This is the fourth time that La Mamounia has received this regional distinction and this split of the Reader’s Choice Awards into two separate editions marks a new stage in celebrating the specific preferences of travelers according to region,” underlines the hotel giant. And to recall its recent distinction as 31st best hotel in the world by “The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024”.
