The Festival takes place annually International du Film de Marrakech (FIFM) is an international film festival that takes place in Marrakech, Morocco. Since its creation in 2000, the FIFM was born to be one of the largest events dedicated to Moroccan cinema. It is also the site of principal photography for many international productions. The festival jury brings together international writers, actors and personalities, and strives to reward the best Moroccan and foreign feature and short films. The Marrakech International Film Festival is chaired by Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco.
