Casablanca: Louvre Hotels opens a 2,000 m2 hotel complex

Expert in international tourism with more than 2,600 hotels in 54 countries, the global hotel group Louvre Hotels Group announces the opening, during the month of September 2018, of a 411-room complex including the Première Classe, Campanile and Kyriad brands in the center of the economic capital.

These three historic brands are being introduced for the first time on the continent. Located on Avenue Mohammed V, on a plot of more than 2,000 m2, the new hotel complex is the result of a partnership with the Moroccan tourism investment fund H Partners.

The architectural project was designed by architect A. Salmi El ldrissi, firm Atelier 6. The complex thus brings together 124 rooms under the Première Classe brand, 189 rooms under the Campanile brand and 98 rooms under the Kyriad brand.

• Première Classe indeed offers an economical offer which targets local travelers, mainly business, but also young tourists sensitive to value for money.

• Campanile is aimed at both business travelers and leisure tourists and offers work rooms, modern conviviality and sharing spaces, as well as a restaurant and lounge bar open to external customers.

• Finally, Kyriad presents a concept of tourist residences in designer and spacious studios, for longer stays and to feel at home. For the first time in its history, the brand called on a designer to redesign its furniture. The Moroccan Hicham Lahlou imagined for this occasion a modern decor which transforms the establishment into a real cultural gateway.

‘‘The establishment in Morocco of Campanile, Kyriad and Première Classe reflects the innovative strategy carried out by Louvre Hotels Croup as part of its development in the Kingdom. The arrival of our historic brands comes in an increasingly dynamic tourism market, where demand for economical and mid-range hotel products is booming. Casablanca therefore becomes the ambassador city of our hotel excellence in the region and in Africa,” declares Andreas Tschnerning, General Director of International Operations of the group, in a message sent to Infomédiaire Maroc.

Africa is a priority for Louvre Hotels Group, which has 26 hotels on the continent and around twenty projects in progress. The Casablanca resort will operate as a hub within the company’s multi-brand continental network.
