For this 33rd edition of the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles du Maroc scheduled from April 12 to 27, and for the 3rd consecutive year, Dacia Morocco is supporting two new crews. The latter were selected internally within Renault Group Maroc. In detail, a call for applications for employees was made within the Moroccan subsidiary of the diamond brand. In addition to compiling an application file, they carried out a defense in front of a jury. “The candidates demonstrated their motivation and their abilities to respond to this challenge and to represent Dacia Morocco, as well as the women of the Group,” Fabrice Crevola, General Director of Renault Commerce Morocco and Dacia Morocco, reminded the national press.
Concretely, four employees from the Group’s different professions will be able to live a unique experience in the Moroccan desert and thus take on a real sporting challenge. It must be said that this 100% female rally also emphasizes ingenuity in a course that requires old-fashioned navigation. Indeed, the gazelles use maps and compasses, while covering the minimum number of kilometers.
To participate in the event, Dacia Maroc has put in place a complete training system and equipment required by the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles du Maroc, the objective being to allow the committed employees to experience the adventure in the best conditions at the wheel of their Dacia Duster 4×4. An SUV whose robustness and versatility allow it to tackle difficult terrain in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara, according to the machine’s crews.
