The openings that marked Marrakech in 2019
Hospitality
Oberoi, Marrakech
After five years of work, the Indian group Oberoi opened its first establishment in Morocco and more precisely in Marrakech. On an 11 hectare estate, the hotel has 84 keys divided into rooms, suites and villas. It also has three restaurants and bars as well as a 2000m2 spa promoting Moroccan and Indian wellness rituals. But what we particularly remember is its patio, a tribute to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, its magnificent lush gardens and its breathtaking views. A true haven of peace and serenity.
Restoration
Sésamo
In December, the Royal Mansour revealed its new Italian table: Sésamo! Signed by the famous Alajmo brothers, whose various establishments have 5 stars in the Michelin guide, Sésamo takes us on a journey to Venice. In a magnificent setting honoring the materials and the chic baroque atmosphere of the city of lovers, Chef Massimiliano sublimates the dishes of the Italian peninsula and more particularly of his region. Thanks to exceptional local products and 5-star know-how, the chef offers you a meal that you will remember for a long time.
L’O à la bouche
Hervé Paulus, also a starred chef, opened his address in the heart of Guéliz. This great Alsatian chef puts traditional French cuisine in the spotlight. By working with seasonal and local products and adding his personal touch, he makes us rediscover French gastronomy and awakens childhood memories. Tasteful cuisine enhanced by the good humor and warm welcome of Denis Vincent and his team, who operate in the dining room. We therefore enjoy coming back regularly to discover the new dishes on the menu, which change with the seasons and products!
