A new airline has just seen the light of day between the city of the Strait and Malaga, according to Europa Press. Three flights per week are scheduled on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The launch price of the line is 19 euros per journey (200 dirhams). Flight duration is estimated at 40 minutes.
The hours are as follows: Thursday at 3:55 p.m., Friday at 11:05 p.m. and Sunday at 3:55 p.m. Malaga thus becomes the fourth city served by the airline from Morocco. The other cities are Barcelona, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca.
This line was filed last October by the president of Tourism and Planning of the Costa Del Sol, Elias Bendodo and the commercial director of Air Arabia in Spain, Alberto Nino. Previously, the only regular way to travel between Malaga and Tangier was to make the Casablanca-Malaga route, they recalled.
It aims to strengthen tourism in the region and bring Moroccans closer to the Spanish city by allowing them to visit their family based on either side of the continent, or in a professional setting.
