Initially scheduled for Kinshasa, the match between Congo Brazzaville and Morocco counting for the fourth day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers will finally be played in Agadir. The International Football Federation (FIFA) sent a letter to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) notifying it of the change in the venue of the meeting. Note that the match will kick off at 8:00 p.m.,” writes the governing body of Moroccan football in a press release published on its official website. As a reminder, the National Team faces Zambia, this Friday at 8 p.m., at the Agadir stadium, as part of the third day of the qualifiers. During these qualifiers, the national team won on November 21, traveling against Tanzania with a score of 2 goals to 0 in its only match played so far in these African qualifiers. Morocco occupies first place in Group E with 3 points, alongside Zambia, Niger and Tanzania, while Congo is 5th with 0 points on its record. Jointly organized by Mexico, Canada and the United States, the 2026 World Cup will start on June 11 at the Aztec Stadium in Mexico City and end on July 19 in New York at MetLife Stadium.
