Initiated by the ONMT, under the aegis of the Kingdom’s embassy in Dakar and in partnership with RAM, the Regional Council of Fez-Meknes and the CRT of Fez, this event aims to promote the different aspects of Moroccan culture and art of living, through highlighting the rich potential of the Kingdom.

The gastronomic and cultural week, which is part of the actions undertaken by the ONMT to conquer the Senegalese and African market in general, will allow professionals and the Senegalese public to savor the dishes of Moroccan culinary art and to discover the enormous cultural, cultural and historical potential offered by the destination Morocco.

The launch of the Moroccan gastronomic and cultural week, which coincides with the inauguration of a representation of the ONMT in Dakar, testifies to the depth and excellence of the centuries-old relations between Morocco and Senegal.

The establishment in Dakar of a representation of the ONMT will respond to an expectation for a partnership acting in the tourism sector, he said, highlighting the excellence of bilateral relations and the contribution of the two heads of state, HM King Mohammed VI and President Macky Sall, to the strengthening of Moroccan-Senegalese ties.

The leading tourist destination in Africa, Morocco, which welcomes more than 10 million tourists per year, is prepared to share its experience with brother and friendly countries on the continent within the framework of a South-South and win-win partnership as advocated by HM King Mohammed VI, he said.
