
Morocco, CR7: Ronaldo’s new hotel opened in Marrakech in February 2021
The Portuguese star of Juventus Turin (D1 Italy), Cristiano Ronaldo, continues to invest in various promising projects, notably that of the hotel industry. The player who has just been voted “best footballer of the century” by Globe Soccer Awards, will inaugurate his first hotel in Marrakech in February 2021. Other hotels in Morocco are already in the works.
After New York, Lisbon, Funchal and Madrid, the five-time Golden Ball (2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017), Cristiano Ronaldo, has just announced the postponement of the inauguration date of his architectural jewel “Pestana CR7”, which was initially planned for this month of December 2020, in Marrakech, Morocco. Fans of the Portuguese star from Juventus Turin are delighted with this news and very impatient for the doors to open in February 2021.
In May last year, Cristiano Ronaldo visited the ocher city to supervise the work of his architectural gem “Pestana CR7”. The Portuguese had also posted several photos posing alongside his future employees. Located in the new “Avenue M”, in the heart of the Menara gardens, the new hotel, which was to accommodate celebrities from the world of football, cinema and others, required an investment of 430 million dirhams, more than 25.8 billion FCFA.
The residential component occupies 95,000 square meters. Downtown Hotel Corporation (DHC) has signed an agreement with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts for the development of 96 residences under the Four Seasons Private Residences Marrakech and M Avenue brand.
This 500 meter long avenue will include 20,000 square meters of commercial space, 65 residential apartments under the M Residence brand, 88 Four Seasons apartments, the 174-room CR7 hotel, a 4,500 square meter business center and a luxury clinic.
With 174 rooms, priced from 200 euros (132,196 FCFA), two restaurants, a business center and a spa, the latest Pestana CR7 Lifestyle hotel targets a “Generation Y” clientele looking for a haven of peace for work and relaxation.
