Nearly 3 decades after launching into the tourism sector, Al Ajial Holding (formerly the Moroccan Kuwaiti Development Consortium) decides to put all of its hotel units up for sale.
Indeed, according to Challenge, the diversified group controlled by the sovereign fund Kuwait Investment Authority and which includes the Moroccan State in its round of funding, recently mandated the investment bank Capital Gestion Groupe to support it in the sale process of the 7 hotel establishments under the Farah brand and which are distributed between Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Safi, Khouribga and Tangier.
The reasons for this sudden disengagement are not yet known. As a reminder, Farah Maghreb had already sold her hotel located in Kenitra at the end of 2003.
