The city of Marrakech is the second favorite travel destination of Spaniards for 2024, according to a study by the Booking platform dedicated to the Spanish tourist market.
In an article published on November 14, the Spanish tourist information portal Nexotur, cites a study by the Booking platform which reveals that “the ocher city offers a great gastronomic variety. 64% of Spaniards are interested in the history of local dishes, while 71% are eager to taste them.” The first tourist destination sought by Spaniards for the 2024 holidays is Bangkok (Thailand). The podium is completed by Edinburgh (Scotland).
London (UK), Vienna (Austria), Copenhagen (Denmark), Brussels (Belgium), Budapest (Hungary), Prague (Czech Republic) and Istanbul (Turkey) complete the top 10. According to the study, more than half of those surveyed said that climate change will also influence the way they plan their vacations. A development which reflects, according to Booking, “a growing awareness of the need to seek destinations with a pleasant climate”.
