Tourism: The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies is prospecting the Moroccan market
The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) will hold its next technical days, from October 2 to 5 in Rabat and Tangier, with the aim of discovering the tourist potential of the Morocco destination. Organized in collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), these days will be an opportunity for participants – travel agencies, tourist providers and presidents of associations – to get to know the Morocco destination up close and to discuss the main current issues in the sector, indicates the Confederation in a press release.
This event, in which 90 professionals will participate, will be marked in particular by the presentation of the Morocco destination and the organization of working meetings between professionals from the two countries. Visits to several tourist sites are also planned. The president of the CEAV, Carlos Garrido, thanked the ONMT in a statement cited in the press release for its collaboration. “Thanks to the agreement signed a few months ago, we are working intensively with Morocco, which has become the Confederation’s preferred international destination,” he underlined. The professionals who will participate in the event are “magnificent prescribers of the destination”, he said, affirming that he has “no doubt” that these days will be “very fruitful”. CEAV is the most representative national organization of travel agencies in Spain. It brings together practically 90% of the travel agencies in the Iberian country, and currently has 35 associations of travel agencies.
