This was the second edition of the Destination France summit, intended to highlight the country’s assets and consolidate its position as the leading global tourism destination. At the end of 2021, Emmanuel Macron had already played the “GO” role to drive new ambition for the sector, which represents 7.5% of GDP and 2 million jobs. Modeled on the Choose France model, Destination France aims to attract investors. In the harvest announced Thursday: the launch of a new fund by Montefiore, the opening of two residences in the mountains by Belambra and 200 million investment by Louvre Hôtels.
