As part of the modernization and development of the urban and peri-urban transport system of the city of Marrakech, the management of the bus network was officially entrusted to the company Superatour, replacing the previous operator Alsa, with the aim of improving the quality of services offered to citizens and to strengthen connectivity between the city and its urban and rural environment

This update includes the reorganization and updating of regular, special and complementary lines (urban tram), as well as regional peri-urban transport lines linking Marrakech to several neighboring municipalities and centers, thus guaranteeing expanded coverage and a better response to daily mobility needs

In this context, the transport administration calls on citizens to take into consideration that the naming of bus lines, particularly outside the urban perimeter of Marrakech, is based exclusively on the starting point and the arrival point, without mention of intermediate stops, except when these constitute the final terminus of the line

This management transition is part of a vision aimed at: improving the regularity of services and respecting timetables; strengthen the safety and quality of the fleet; consolidate the connection between urban neighborhoods and peri-urban areas; raise the level of service in order to meet the expectations of the inhabitants of Marrakech and its visitors.
