The Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Drâa-Tafilalet region announced, this Monday, the temporary suspension of classes in several public and private schools in different municipalities in the region, due to the deterioration of weather conditions
According to the director of the Academy, Abdelati Al Asfar, this decision aims to preserve the safety of students as well as that of educational and administrative staff, following the orange vigilance level alert bulletin issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology
The measure, effective from this Monday, concerns several municipalities in the provinces of Errachidia, Ouarzazate, Midelt and Tinghir, It is part of the guidelines of the supervisory ministry relating to the security of educational establishments, as well as the application of regional directives on risk prevention, particularly those linked to unfavorable weather conditions.
