Mr. Hammouchi at Naif University: Renewal of Mandate and Consolidation of the Arab Strategic Vision

The Director General of National Security and Surveillance of the National Territory (DGSN-DGST), Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, took part in the work of the 51st annual session of the Higher Council of the Naif Arab University of Sciences of Security (the scientific arm of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers), which took place between November 2 and 4. Mr. Hammouchi participated as a member of the Superior Council, the supreme decision-making body of this academic institution, responsible for developing its general policy and supervising its scientific and administrative affairs, in particular police training and security sciences.

During this session, the Council renewed its mandate for a second period, emphasizing the importance of its role in continuing efforts to modernize academic police training programs. Under the chairmanship of the Saudi Minister of the Interior, the Council examined the mechanisms for implementing the University’s strategy for the period 2025-2029, focused on the diversification of educational programs and the development of research.

The University’s achievements were also highlighted, including obtaining several high-profile international accreditations (American and French) for its programs. On the sidelines of these meetings, Mr. Hammouchi attended the annual graduation ceremony for the 43rd class of postgraduate students, representing 11 Arab countries.
