After the discovery of the Moroccan pick-up Aslan, here is a new 100% Moroccan electric car designed and developed by a young Moroccan engineer.
His name is Imad Morchid and he has just designed an impressive racing car, reports 2m.ma. “It is a sporty and 100% electric car, designed, developed and produced in Morocco. I dedicated thirteen inventions to it, which I patented in my name internationally,” explains the young engineer to the chain.
This car can compete with those of the major world manufacturers since it has a power of 650 horsepower and with its batteries it can travel more than 500 kilometers. In addition, it perfectly meets international standards for cars in this segment.
“The idea is to make it a reliable car. I developed my own processes, including the chassis, a new type of gearbox, a robotic suspension system that provides better stability, energy generation systems, as well as other mechanisms. The behavior of the car and its performance are therefore increased,” he explains to the same source.
On the financing side, it was his father, at the head of a large family business, who took charge of the entire project.
