eMarrakech: The 54th edition of the holiday fair is being held in Brussels from February 2 to 6, an opportunity for Morocco to deploy the diversity of its tourist offers.
As part of the 2020 vision, the kingdom’s diligent participation in the various global meetings on tourism is of strategic importance, with a view to increasing the number of arrivals, and positioning itself as a privileged and essential destination for international tourism, hence the participation in the Brussels holiday fair.

“The Belgians have remained sensitive to the attractions of the Morocco destination. The number of tourists from Belgium who visited Morocco in 2011 increased by 12 percent compared to the previous year,” said Saad Bezzate, director of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) for the Benelux, in a statement to MAP.
The Belgian public will have the opportunity to discover on the stand at 100 m², the new communication campaign launched last November.
“This new advertising campaign “Morocco, the country that travels within you” refers to the lived experience that deeply marks all minds. “A strong message based on the following observation: thanks to its authentic and living culture, a trip to Morocco is so significant and enriching that it leaves an eternal mark on the traveler. A memory so intense because the country continues to travel within him, even long after his return,” enthuses the head of the ONMT representation in Benelux.

The Moroccan stand is hosted by several national tour operators presenting interesting offers to visitors.

Note that more than 800 exhibitors take part in the Brussels Holiday Fair, which attracts nearly 100,000 visitors each year, and whose organizers have chosen Indonesia as guest of honor for this 54th edition.
