Hospitality Four RIU hotels in Morocco receive the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence
Votes and reviews from travelers recognizing the quality of services and facilities at the ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas and Riu Tikida Beach in Agadir and the ClubHotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie and Riu Tikida Garden in Marrakech

Four RIU hotels in Morocco have received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, the world’s leading travel website. This award does not replace the Travelers´ Choice awards, but rather represents an extension of TripAdvisor’s recognition of hotels rated highest by travelers.
To qualify for this Certificate of Excellence, hotels must have achieved an average score of four out of five or higher, based on TripAdvisor user ratings. This also takes into consideration the number of reviews generated and the fact that they are recent.
The RIU hotels in Morocco that have been awarded a 2012 Certificate of Excellence are:
• ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas, Agadir
• Riu Tikida Beach, Agadir
• ClubHotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie, Marrakech
• Riu Tikida Garden, Marrakech
Marrakech, considered the jewel of Morocco, is home to the Clubhotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie which has 388 rooms and Riu Tikida Garden, with 255 rooms. These 4-star hotels offer the famous RIU all-inclusive service and offer a wide gastronomic offer in their restaurants, making these properties the ideal choice for enjoying a family vacation.
The city of Agadir is the main seaside destination in Morocco thanks to its ten kilometers of golden beach, its hinterland and its magnificent sunsets.
The Spanish hotel chain has four hotels in this destination: the ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas and Riu Tikida Beach, both offered as “all-inclusive” and having been awarded by TripAdvisor; and the luxurious Riu Grand Palace Tikida Golf and the Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, which opened its doors last March.
Thanks to the excellent partnership built since 2002 with the Tikida Group, the RIU Hotels & Resorts chain is developing in Morocco where it now has 6 hotels. Due to its beauty, the quality of its welcome, its climate and its proximity to the main European markets, the country attracts more and more visitors each year, and with its ambitious development plan, the TIKIDA/RIU group is a major player in the 10/20 vision.

With the inauguration of its first urban hotel in 2010, RIU expanded its product range by integrating its own line of urban hotels, called Riu PLAZA.
