As part of the promotion of the destination “Morocco” on the Romanian tourist market, the Embassy of the Kingdom in Romania took part, last Friday in Ploesti (70 km from Bucharest), in the 10th edition of the “ExpoVacanta” tourism fair.
This event was organized by the Prahova Tourism Promotion and Development Association in collaboration with the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking at the inauguration of this Show, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ms. Faouz El Achchabi, highlighted the tourism assets and potential of Morocco, the strategic vision of 2020 as well as the political and economic stability enjoyed by the Kingdom.
She also invited the Romanian public to visit and discover the riches of the Kingdom, indicates a press release from the embassy.
The Moroccan stand where craft objects were exhibited as well as brochures on the diversity and tourist attractions of the Kingdom was visited by Romanian officials, ambassadors and operators from the sector who also tasted the variety of tasty dishes of Moroccan cuisine.
This Fair constitutes one of the most important events in the region and is dedicated to the presentation of tourist offers from the Prahova Department, new market developments, as well as a meeting platform for tourism professionals.
The 2017 edition, which expects some 50,000 visitors, will see the participation of numerous tour operators and professional associations specializing in the field of tourism.
