
Air Arabia Maroc launches a new airline linking Marrakech to Paris
The low-cost airline Air Arabia Maroc is strengthening its network to Paris and launching a new service from Marrakech.
« Paris thus becomes the fifth destination served by Air Arabia Maroc from Marrakech after Montpellier, Pau, Fez and Frankfurt », noted the airline in a press release sent to MAP on Tuesday June 13.
This announcement comes a few months after the launch of two flights to Paris from Tangier and Fez, adds the same source, specifying that with these three services, « Parisians will be able to discover Morocco in multiple facets by opting for combined stays. »
The circuits of the imperial cities will thus be completed in less time, especially with the Marrakech-Fez connection operational from June 16.
« This new line concretizes our continued approach in favor of the multiplication of tourist and economic exchanges between Morocco and France. This connection adds to our well-established network to France and which has 22 weekly flights from five Moroccan airports », declared the president and CEO of the Air Arabia group, Adel Ali, commenting on the commissioning of the Marrakech-Paris connection.
Operational line at the end of October
Flights to Paris which are now open for sale on all of the airline’s distribution channels, from 599 dirhams, will be operational from October 31 and will be operated by Airbus A320s.
Departing from Marrakech, flights will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 a.m. Arrival is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. in Paris, while two other flights are scheduled on the same days from Paris to Marrakech at 11:40 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with an arrival scheduled for 2:10 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. respectively.
Based in Casablanca, Air Arabia Maroc, launched in 2009, is Morocco’s first low-cost carrier.
