Tourism/Hospitality: Saïdia’s new offers
The Spanish hotel group, Meliá Hotels & Resorts is already preparing for the next summer season. It has just organized with great fanfare two large evenings and four days of activities (discovery of the hinterland, fun, sports, aquatic games, dance classes, golf, shows, etc.) to communicate around its new hotel offer in Saïdia, thus contributing to broadening the offer of the destination with multiple tourist attractions. Ultimately, the Melia offer will consist of three five-star hotels.
Two have been operational since this summer. A third is in the construction phase: the “Melia Saïdia residences” which will receive its first customers in June 2018. The “Melia Saïdia Garden” (150 rooms), which opened its doors on June 4, is a luxury resort designed like a picturesque Mediterranean village with personalized service. The “Meliá Saïdia Beach”, operational since July 17, offers, for its part, 397 rooms and suites inspired by local Moroccan architecture with an opening onto one of the most beautiful beaches in the Kingdom.
It also benefits from the competitive advantage of being close to both the Saïdia marina and the city’s two golf courses. All these resorts are classified five stars, in an “all inclusive” formula and offer offers adaptable to business tourism, relaxation, discovery, events and golf to extend the seasonality to 9 over the 12 months of the year. “A progression that will crescendo to exceed the six months of opening recorded during this summer and make the Saïdia seaside resort more profitable,” explain Nabil Doubi Kadmiri and Sara Nabigh, respectively director of the Saïdia development company and marketing director at Melia.
These hotels offer a range of activities for lovers of discovery. The same goes for the multiple entertainment options on site: sports activities, all-day leisure activities, show evenings and live music for children and adults. The hotel’s Yhi Spa offers a range of beauty treatments and massages, as well as a private indoor swimming pool. Services provided by 600 employees, 80% of whom are from the region.
Regarding dining, Meliá Saïdia Beach Resort offers four specialized restaurants, offering culinary varieties of Moroccan, Spanish, Mediterranean and international cuisine. At the same time, the hotel has several bars, including a lobby hall, a wet bar, a sports bar and two snack bars with aquatic views. The establishment is also equipped to host business conferences in its 800 m2 event space.
