
Oman Air launches a new route to Casablanca
Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, will launch its new flight between Muscat and Mohamed V airport in Casablanca on July 1, 2018.
The company will operate four weekly frequencies To Muscat, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, operated by a Dreamliner (787-800) with a capacity of 234 passengers (30 business class and 204 economy class).
The new Casablanca route will come after the launch from Istanbul in June 2018 and before the winter launch to Moscow in October 2018. This is one of the many strategic axes of the ambitious and dynamic fleet and network expansion program.
The new route between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Morocco will strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, improve trade and tourism prospects and allow Oman Air guests to explore one of the most dynamic cities in the world. Travelers to Muscat will be greeted with the charm and warmth synonymous with the destination.
Flight number WY171 operated by a Dreamliner (B787-800), with a duration of 8 hours and 50 minutes, will depart from Muscat at 01:20, arriving at 07:10 and then take off from Casablanca at 08:20, return flight number WY172 will have a duration of 7 hours and 50 minutes arriving at the new passenger terminal of Muscat International Airport at 7:15 p.m.
